A HOTEL HONOURING THE SPIRIT OF ‘XIA’
Jin Yong once said, “The essence of Wuxia novels is about ‘Xia’(people who practice martial arts) instead of ‘Wu’ (martial arts). Xia’s spirit of righteousness is manifest as long as people interact, and therefore, this spirit always exists.”
This is Seasun's first Wuxia-themed cultural tourism hotel. Instead of being cliché by enacting scenes from Wuxia novels, it explores the humanistic spirit of “Xia” in a contemporary way. Integrated with food and beverages, entertainment and leisure, and retail shopping, a total area of 160,000 square feet is decorated to exhibit the ideology of “Xia”.
Bamboo grove has always been a significant battlefield for duel. When you first enter the hotel, you will pass through an extensive and glazed bamboo grove made of mirror reflection. In the lobby, you will be embraced by a sea of bamboo and be immersed in its solemnness and tranquillity. The design which balances both old and new – retains traditional elements of martial arts and is enhanced with modern materials, reinterprets – a New Form of Wuxia Culture.
To echo the theme of Wuxia, the contemporary chinese style room is geared up with a few mechanisms, allowing you to fully experience this new form of Wuxia culture. Besides, some suites also have a tearoom, you may make your own tea here, and it’s a perfect place for gathering with friends as well.
以「俠」之名的當代酒店
「武俠小說精神在『俠』而不在『武』。只要人與人之間有關係，這種仗義精神在社會上是永遠存在的。」 – 金庸
此項目乃 Seasun 首間以武俠主題的文旅酒店，設計捨棄模擬武俠小說中的古式空間。深度的探討「俠」的人文精神，並以當代的手法呈現。整個項目達160,000平方尺，綜合餐飲、休閒娛樂及購物等整合式消費。
竹林，一向是武俠們決一高下的地方。剛進入酒店時，你會穿梭於琉璃竹林之間，鏡射效果令竹林無限延伸，仿如致身綿綿竹海之中，清幽空谷之感。設計保留傳統的武俠元素，並重新以現代物料作修飾；建築於古代俠客與現代中國人之間，詮釋「新武俠文化」。
為貫徹武俠主題，在中式的文青風格房間內，加入了機關元素，令住客完整地體驗「新武俠文化」。而部份房間更設有茶室，除了燒茶外，亦可邀請友人舉杯暢飲。
